Over 400 of our colleagues have joined as founding members over the past week (thank you, guys!) and several even have profiles up in the STC Directory!
So you get a feel for what's in here, I wanted to show you some screen shots from the Directory.
What you see above is one of the filters.
This is a filtered list of clinicians that have a niche in Generalized Anxiety Disorder.
You can click on any profile to learn more about the clinician, why they chose their niches, and other information like fees/insurances accepted.
The really cool thing is that your profile is integrated with Google Maps so you know exactly where the clinician's office is located!
So, if you have a specialty in GAD (or need to refer a client with GAD out), no more having to post in online groups!
You can also list yourself if you have a niche outside of a traditional DSM diagnosis like entrepreneurial stress or if you work with highly sensitive people
(don't worry…I'm happy to add a filter if you have a niche outside of what's listed).
The above example is a second feature of the directory: the ability to connect with other clinicians who work with similar or related professions.
In this example, I can connect with other clinicians who work with Gifted Individuals.
By clicking on any profile, you can learn more about the clinician & their practice, their top business wisdom, and get info to connect with them!
I can't share too much, but I'm really excited about this section because there's going to be some future features where we're going to learn and support the growth of each other's practices. =)
FINDING AND ADVERTISING OUR CONSULTATION AND SUPERVISION SERVICES
Finally, there's a section I hope solves a challenge many of us have: finding clinical and business consultation/supervision (and being able to advertise our supervision and consultation services).
I could go on and on about some of the cool features of the Directory (you can read them all HERE), but I won't make this post longer than it already is.
Thanks so much for connecting with STC. I want you to know that I'll give it my all to make it the best resource to connect with and learn from other helpers and healers.
Please email me if you have any questions, especially if you're on the fence (we're colleagues and I'll give you an honest answer on whether or not you should join).
Hope to see you inside the directory,
Melvin
P.S. Here's the link to join for your convenience.
